Motorola DM1400 — mains-powered, foot pedal PTT
Powered by 13amp mains supply in the crane cab — no batteries to charge or replace during a lift. The operator transmits via a floor-mounted foot pedal, so both hands stay on the crane controls at all times. A visor mic at eye level picks up voice clearly, and a down-fire antenna directs the signal straight down to coordinators and slingers below, cutting interference on busy sites.
